About the Ladybird Day Nursery
Ladybird Day Nursery provides a friendly stimulating and safe
environment where children can have fun enjoying challenging
activities. Our forward thinking approach will ensure your children
thoroughly enjoy their day whilst stretching their imagination and
developing a range of new skills.

The children are regularly taken on trips to the beautiful
park and nature centre opposite the nursery. They also enjoy the
benefits of the nursery garden where they are encouraged to learn
through play by growing their own produce in our very own vegetable
and herb garden.
A
balanced and nutritional diet is provided to all children whilst at
nursery, the cost of which is included within our standard fees. In
2007 we were awarded a healthy eating standard award by Birmingham
Health Education Service. The children are introduced to a wide
variety of food groups using a colour coded menu, thereby helping
them to learn the benefits of a balanced diet from an early age. The
nursery also benefits from having our own in-house cook who prepares
fresh meals daily.
All staff hold appropriate childcare qualifications, such as BA ED (hons),
Foundation Degree in early years, NNEB or NVQ. Staff also hold
certificates in Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, Child
Protection, Health and Safety, Infection Control, Birth to Three
Matters and the Foundation Stage.
